Hayley Banks - Aboriginal Family Outreach Navigator

Hayley has always been passionate about social justice and equality, graduating with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree, Child Welfare Specialization, from the University of Victoria in 2015. Hayley spent a short time after graduation practicing child welfare, but she is thrilled to now be moving to a supportive role for children and families in the community with Sasaman’s Society. She brings many years of experience working with persons with disabilities and at risk youth/families and is excited to listen, learn and adapt her practice in a way that best supports First Nation communities in the North Island.

Hayley is from Victoria B.C. and has recently moved to Campbell River with her husband as newlyweds, eager to explore this beautiful area she now calls home.
